Neuropeptides: The Science

Neuropeptides are naturally occurring strings of amino acids that exist throughout the body. These naturally occurring fragments of protein give a look of radiance, tone and resiliency to the skin. When used twice daily the results are both immediate and cumulative.

Neuropeptide Technology was clinically formulated to supplement the N.V. Perricone M.D. Cosmeceuticals core regimen of Topical Power Product treatments, including Alpha Lipoic Acid and Vitamin C Ester. Clients will see the appearance of immediate and cumulative results by using this system twice daily, three times weekly. In addition, because of the synergistic action of their existing Topical Power Products, they will realize vast improvements, taking their entire skin care regimen to a heightened level.

Independent laboratory testing on the Neuropeptide Technology - 4-piece System confirmed that after only 4 weeks of use 85% reported that their skin felt more nourished and moisturized.

Alpha Lipoic Acid: Skin Sensitivity Test

To ensure compatibility of our Alpha Lipoic Acid treatments with your skin’s sensitivity, Dr. Perricone recommends applying a small amount on the neck below the ear as a test patch for three consecutive days. A tingling or warming sensation is normal. If extreme redness or irritation occurs, discontinue use.
